The East Side Progressive Barrel Racer Association (ESBPRA) would like to invite our young ladies who are members of the ESBPRA between the ages of 13 and 18 to try out for a position as QUEEN and on the ESPBRA Royal Court and between the ages of 7 and 12 to try out for a position as Princess on the ESPBRA Royal Court. 

 

 We will be looking for members that will be willing to represent the ESPBRA in a variety of ways throughout the"2010-2011" year.  

 

Both the Queen and Princess contestants must be a 2010 member and be a year end qualified riders.

ESPBRA Royal Court CONTESTANTS must be willing and able to perform the
following duties:

Sell 50/50 tickets at the monthly events in an effort to raise money for year-end awards.
Promote and advertise ESBPRA through local publications such as the Bridle and Bit and Horse Connection each month.
Perform the "Royalty Ride" each month at the beginning of each event.

Represent the club at any and all events and demonstrate good horsemanship skills.

Help find Sponsors to raise money for parades.

Attend at least 6 events.
Help Director when needed.


ESPBRA Royal Court contestant's PARENT must be willing and able to perform the
following duties:


    Support his/her daughter in performing the above responsibilities
    Coordinate the Opening Ceremony event at each Barrel Race.

    Coordinate entries into parades for our members.

All contestants will be judged on their verbal responses to the following
questions:

“Why do you want to be an ESPBRA ROYAL COURT MEMBER?”

 

Try-outs for the 2011-12 year will be in January at the year end awards party 2011. 

  

Members and family will be able to vote for you. 

So please be prepared.
