  Raffle Tickets are 6 for $ 5.00 or $1.00 each.  Raffle Tickets sales is a Royalty Court Responsiblity.

 

                                                                                      Payouts
Payout is calculated by percentage and based on the number of riders in your class.  If enough riders compete in your class, we now pay up to five places.

$25.00 fee for NSF on return on personel checks plus bank fees.

PLEASE NOTE: Any  rider with outstanding balances due to returned checks is required to make good the outstanding amount due along with any NSF fees before the start of the next event.  Any rider with an outstanding balance may not participate until balance is settled and the rider will lose point for the events associated with the outstanding balance. Only cash will be accepted to bring balances current and for future events for these select riders.

ESPBRA is a membership driven club. 

Membership Cost for 2012 is $40.00 for families and $30.00 for individuals per year.  Membership entitles you to a discount arena fee, the chance to accumulate points for year-end awards and a chance to participate in the TOP-FIVE All-Around for the Saddle.  Non-members are welcome.  Members and Non-members both pay the same to compete in ESPBRA Progressive classes  and 5D Progressive Side Pot. A 70% pay-outs are based on the number of riders per-class.  Members and Non-Member riders are required to abide by ESPBRA rules.

 

ESPBRA RULES:

 

  • Boots or shoes with a clearly defined heel and long pants must be worn while in the arena.

  • A western saddle or a speed saddle must be used while in the arena.

  • Alcoholic beverages or use of any illegal substance of any kind are strictly prohibited by riders on the grounds.  One warning will be given; any repeat offense will result in automatic dismissal of the rider and/or guest(s).  No points will be given to the rider for that day.

  • The use of profanity or abusive language by any contestant towards any ESPBRA Official or P&M Board Member or Arena Crew or Royalty Court or Goat Coach or Royalty Coach, or other ESPBRA members will result in disqualification from that event and could result in disqualification from ESPBRA for the entire year.

  • The contestant shall have one minute to be at the gate of the arena and entering the gate after his/her name is called.  Failure to do so will result in disqualification from that event.

  •  It is the rider’s responsibility to make sure they are signed up in the books during the registration process. The announcer will read all of the names in the class that is to run and if there are any discrepancies please bring them to the office’s attention ASAP.

  • It is the responsibility of the rider to understand the pattern of each event ridden. Broken patterns will result in a no-time. Broken Patterns include Horses stopping timers or missing obstacles. 5 point penalties apply for knocked down props. ESPBRA doesn’t follow the forward motion rule.  We let riders back up and fix corrections.  Riders must stay in the general event pattern outline. All riders must stay on their horse during the timed event.  If a rider is dismounted during the time event the ride will result in a no-time.

  • There will be no running of a horse outside the arena, with the exception of inside the warm up arena, and then only for the purpose of warming up the horse (no racing or reckless running).

  • Any act of discourtesy or disobedience toward any ESPBRA Official, or Volunteers in and out of the arena, will result in disqualification for the duration of the scheduled event and could have their membership withdrawn. Members must always respect the diversity of the Associations many members and volunteers.  Members must in order to stay in good standing with the club be supportive of the Director, volunteers and other member  in  their actions, words and deeds.

  •  Any discrepancies in times or patterns must be brought to the attention of the announcers (prior to the next rider entering the arena)The contestant or the contestant's legal guardian must sign all entries and release form before entering the arena.

  • Riders can sign up for ESPBRA event before class closes.  Class closes after last rider in that class runs. Rider must be saddled before their class closes. One minute rule applies.

  •  Any discrepancies concerning points must be brought to the attention of the director with-in two months past questioned event. We are a volunteer based club and realized mistakes can occur, however we hold legal guardians responsible for tracking and assisting and signing up youth riders.

  • If you sign up and run in a class slower than your class you receive no points for the show.  If you sign up and run in a class faster than your class and you win money you move to that class.

  • Year-end awards class points are tracked in the class points spread sheet.  The Top 5 riders of the All-Around are tracked from the all around spread sheet.

  • Excessive punishment or inhumane treatment of any horse or at any time shall result in disqualification for the duration of the scheduled event. ESPBRA director will determine what constitutes excessive punishment or inhumane treatment - no exceptions!

  • There will be no riding double in the arena unless a signed release for both riders is on file.

  • Any dogs brought onto the premises must be kept on a leash.
